Dear Caradine Family,
I wish to offer our sincere sympothy to your loss. Mr.Caradine was and always will be one of the truely great actors of our time.
I can honestly say We know what you are going thru. My husbands brother died Feb.28,2009. We know what happened but getting the ones who caused his death is a trial in itself. You see Paul was murdered by a socalled friend. Paul’s wife and I are very close and I’m determined to find out exactly what happened and so is his daughter. We’ve already received death threats but we are not letting this stand in our way of finding out hte truth.
I’m sending this not for your sympothy but to encourage you to find out for yourselves what happened, so you can put closure to something traggic and move on. It’s not going to be easy but for the sake of your family do this.
I know you don’t know me but if you want to e-mail me to cry, yell, scream, or just talk please in any way I can help I will. We’re not rich but I can lend an listening ear and as a Christian IT WILL NOT GO ANY FARTHER!!
Sincerely,
Etta Mitchell
To David’s Family,
I first saw David Carradine in a performance of The Royal Hunt For the Sun, in NY. I was a teenager and it was a school trip. I believe he played the part of Montezuma–I was about 14 years old, 1962. He was wonderful. Later when the TV show Kung Fu aired on TV, I was riveted to the TV screen (a 9″ black and white) and never missed an episode. I even took notes and still have them to this day. David was always inspiring in those shows which really became my weekly spiritual inspiration. I am heartsick at the loss of one of my heroes. I cannot imagine how this loss, let alone the horrible tabloids and the mystery of how he came to this cruel end must be affecting all of you. I pray that you will have news which will allow you to move forward in your grieving process with at least a lighter heart, free of the disrepectful intimations of journalists and other people who have not treated this difficult passing with any thoughts of respect towards David or his family. My heart is with you. David was a loved and treasured person, and his legacy will continue.
Sincerely and with heavy heart, Khadi Madama, a long time fan.
To the Family and Friends of Mr. Carradine,
It saddens us deeply as too the whole world that this great man has been taken from you and all of us who so admired him, far too soon. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to each and every one who is mourning the loss of this great man. Bless all that knew and loved him.
We hope that God can give you peace as you deal with this horrible tragedy as so are all of his fans, I know we are.
Sincerely,
