Thursday Night: Captain Michael Scott Speicher will spend the night in the Chapel at the Jacksonville Naval Air Station
Friday Morning: 9:00 am A memorial service will begin at the Veterans Memorial Wall.
Friday Morning 9:15 am A memorial funeral procession will proceed to the Veterans Memorial Wall in Jacksonville,
From the Veterans Wall the procession will proceed to Lakeside Methodist Church and Forest High School here Speicher’s Family and friends will meet. This part of the arrangements are not finalized.
The funeral will end with a private burial ceremony at Jacksonvile Memory Garrdens in Orange Park located near the mall.

I met Scott in November 2000, just 2 months before his shootdown. From November on, I carried a fond memory of an Outstanding Young Naval Aviator who made an Old Naval Aviator feel young again. He truly portrayed the right stuff, He was the Right Stuff. God Bless your Soul, Scott Speicher
