Final Funeral arrangements have been made In the Scott Speicher Funeral. The Florida Governor Charlie Crist will speak. speicher_sThere will be a memorial service on Friday August 14th 2009. There will be a memorial Funeral Procession as well. The procession will make no stops in the town  after the Ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Wall in Jacksonville, Florida.

Captain Scott Speicher was the first casuality of the 1991 Gulf War. He was missing for 18 years before his remains were found.

JACKSONVILLE VETERANS MEMORIAL WALL:
The city’s public ceremony will begin at the wall (in the Sports Complex near downtown) at 9 a.m. and will await the arrival of the processional.

8:50 a.m. – prelude music
9:00 a.m. – St. Johns River City Band quartet (two selections)
9:06 a.m. – Invocation Pastor Dan Casselberry Ortega UMC
9:08 a.m. – Colors Posted JFRD Honor Guard
9:10 a.m. – City Councilman Don Redman (tentative)
9:12 a.m. – National Anthem SJRCB
9:15 a.m. – Brief Remarks Gov. Crist and Mayor John Peyton
9:19 a.m. – JFRD Honor Guard and Bag Pipes lead crowd to positions on Franklin Street
9:25 a.m. – Funeral Procession family of Capt. Scott Speicher
9:29 a.m. – Twenty one gun salute JSO Rifle Team
9:30 a.m. – Taps JSO
