The Lakewood Police Officers Funeral Memorial Procession is underway. The Procession is taking three hours and is reported to contain 2000 police and emergency vehicles.

“Law enforcement officers from around the region are stationed along the procession route, preparing to close intersections so the procession can pass unimpeded on its way to the service for Sgt. Mark Renninger and officers Tina Griswold, Greg Richards and Ronald Owens.
The procession will make its way past the Lakewood Police Department, where relatives of the slain officers will join the procession. It will be the last time Renninger, Griswold, Richards and Owens will visit the station.”
A giant American flag bolstered by two firetruck ladders is gently waving in the icy morning breeze today.
